Re: Ringo Starr
He doesnt have to say anything frankly, I just cant abide him.

I remember a few years back he put out a video complaining that people sent him letters and bits and bobs and that he now wasnt going to answer anything anymore as he was far too busy.
He kept ending every sentence with the phrase "with peace and love" and I thought that was a very odd and dickish.

Basically, hes a bit of a nob.

Re: Ringo Starr
jools, fifty years of signing various shit would probably grind anyone down. I think you're being harsh on Ringo

Re: Ringo Starr
On the other hand Mike, 50 years of being rich and exceedingly comfortable on the money provided by said people might make up for that in some small way.

;-)

Yeah but a very fucking rich nob!

Re: Ringo Starr
I have to say that his son, Zak Starkey, is a far better drummer than his old man ever was. Saw him a few months ago playing with Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend. There aren't many drummers who can stand up to the late great Mooney, but he does.

cholo 7:49 Fri Sep 16
Re: Ringo Starr
The Beatles would've been a different band without either one of John, Paul, or George. Whilst a whelk could've stood in for Ringo and it wouldn't have made any fucking difference whatsoever.
